Shoaib fined for breach of discipline

Shoaib Akhtar has been fined approximately US$57,000 and 13-match ban for breaches of discipline, including his spat with Mohammad Asif in South Africa. He has also been placed on a two-year probationary period during which any disciplinary breaches could result in a life ban. The ban, however, includes the seven matches already played at the ICC World Twenty20 and the two Tests against South Africa.

Effectively, it means he will be available for the last ODI against South Africa but more realistically, the tour to India. Shoaib is now on probation and any breach of contract or disciplinary issues could result in a life ban over the next two years. Shoaib, who was present at the press conference, has the right to appeal but said he was eager to put the matter behind him now. "Shoaib apologised to Asif, his team-mates, and the country.

India Vs Australia

The series is going to the tunes of Australia, can the boys bring it backj to their
tunes and make australians dance to their tunes, for this to happen India has to
match to the skill set of Australians not only in the war of words but also on the
field performance.Sreesanth is going out of hand....no team will complain about
celebrating after getting the wicket of Symonds, but when we got him out is the point. You are a great bowler my dear but be wise enough when to celebrate and let the ball do the taking more than you do on the ground atleast.Hope India comes back strongly back with their 2-0 trailing to Australia.
